Morzine is a picturesque, Savoyard town, set in a beautiful (east/west) valley with traditional chalet-style architecture. The local friendly skiing terrain is perfect for beginners and intermediates with the Pleney pistes overlooking the town (chalet) and the 49 lifts linked with the Les Gets local pass. The Super Morzine lift on the other side of the valley takes you up to the more advanced area of Avoriaz with four snow parks and the snow cross course. For those looking for expert skiing there are plenty of "offpiste" powder fields accessible with local guides. For those that love tree skiing the Chamossiere is exceptional and for those that love steep - the Avoriaz "le Mur Suisse"
